Hi, I'm Paige.
Odds are, I like you. ♥
TLDR: Small girl, big creativity. I'm fully ambidextrous, a martial artist, business owner, professional un-fucker (I fix things), and I want to create everything forever until I die.
I welcome you to my little corner of the internet.
And for the especially curious
Lore drop incoming:
The Art Backstory:
I've been creating anything and everything I could since I could physically hold tools to implement my manifestations. My oldest piece of intentional art I own is from a year and half of age. I had insanely artistically skilled uncles that fueled my creative spark every time I had the privilege of putting eyes on their pieces. I would absolutely scour their devoted strokes on paper with every inch of my tiny brain, eyes full of sparkles and heart full of effort. I was 17 when my uncle (my pillar of artistic reference in my youth) flipped through a sketchbook of mine and excitedly boasted about the pieces to everyone else in the car we were riding in. I was so moved, I secretly cried. They brag about me now. Fuck that's cool.
I wish I could live forever just to see what stuff I could make after hundreds of years, but alas, I am still but a mere mortal. -sigh-
Kicked off commissions in elementary school, starting with custom Pokémon and character art for chump change, and by the time I was 11, I began moving into fine arts and landed my first oil painting commission or two. From there, I regularly had galleries and live art performances in an effort to connect with as many people as I could.
I love working with other people and sharing creative endeavors, but not many artists feel the same, turns out. This meant art school was never an option for me. Instead, I continued my journey of being a self-taught scribbler and devoured every flicker of style and skill that I was able.
And here I am today. Still scribbling. Only this time with a whole wide world of wonderful people who support and share and join me. If you're reading this, you're probably one of them, and I love you. Thank you.
'Round the Block:
I grew up barefoot climbing trees and fighting with sticks, riding motorcycles, doing every sport under sun, and unapologetically being a feral (but generally polite) child. I have lots of scars and somehow few broken bones. A lot of concussions, though. Oh my God. Always had really good grades in school, though. So I guess there's that.
I've worked construction and fabrication for years, a multitude of sales and specialty retail jobs, food service, and whatever called on my artistic abilities for shekels. I was even the DJ and stage manager at a strip club for a while (this was a golden era and the birth of the tiger onesie).
Now I frolic in firearms and un-fucking (creative solutions specialist for difficult problems and places) and full-time run my lil' art business.
Character Arc:
I grew up in some pretty little go-nowhere town, deep in the Redwood coast. Somehow it was simultaneously the most beautiful place, full of the ugliest kinds of people. My world was (metaphorically) burned to the ground and in my grief, I finally moved out the pocket I spent a quarter of a century in and migrated even further north to the land of Seattle. It was "home" when I first visited for half day at 17, and it became my home permanently when I turned the ripe age of 25. Here is where every bad thing that ever happened to me became worth it. Turns out, when you lose so much, you have a lot less to lose. From ashes come fertile ground, and all that.
Currently, I reside with the love of my life in a life I love.
See you, Space Cowboy.
If you made it this far, then that's pretty cool. I think you're cool. And I hope you have a life as cool as you are. I mean that.
See you around on the internet.
♥ xoxo,
